All profits from this 1-mile and 5K run benefit Thrive for Theron with our outreach, including the Theron Rogerson Scholarship Fund. This fund will highlight the risk of suicide, with our goal to award this scholarship for 19 years to honor Theron's life.

All profits from this race benefit Thrive for Theron on our outreach, including the Theron Rogerson Scholarship Fund. The Theron Rogerson Scholarship Fund is a $2,000 annual scholarship to a GHS male student athlete. This fund will highlight the risk of suicide. Theron found so much joy in life with an eye on the future, which made his choice so shocking and the reverberations through the community so deep. Our goal is to award this scholarship for at least 19 years to honor the number of years Theron was with us on Earth.

About Theron
Theron Rogerson was a 2021 Granville High School athlete who excelled in track and hurdles. Theron attended MVNU as a track athlete. He was a loving brother, son, and friend who will be remembered for his kind soul, determination, and playful personality.
